The Physics five-hundred
The goal of this research laboratory is to present how to calculate the average velocity and speed in 6 different races. In order to find common speed you need to use the formulation s=d/t (s= speed, d=distance, t=time). Alternatively, for accelaration you will utilize formula a= vf-vi/t (a=acceleration, vf=final velocity, vi= preliminary velocity, t=time). Average velocity is how fast something is moving; the path distanced shifted per period. Acceleration is the rate of which velocity can be changing, the change could possibly be in magnitude, direction, or both.

Once you've collected all of the materials you can proceed to the subsequent steps: 1 . Choose a few people you will like to work with in a staff. 2 . Designate each person to either record the time, take note of results, or do the 6th different type of races several. Go outdoors to a field and put the 2 cones at a distance of 10 meters from each other 5. The person that will do the races will be on one side of the cone plus the other two people will be on the other side of the cone a few. Once anything is set up, the person with the stop watch will inform the one that is doing the races to get started on when he/she says " Go! вЂќ & when he/she gets to the other side the person will stop enough time and give the quantity if beat to the recorders. 6. You can do six different contests: running, bypassing, jumping, running backwards, karaoke, shuffle. Every race may have 2 tests recorded using its time. 7.
