With Josip Broz‘s (Tito) death in 1980 the former Socialist Government Republic of Yugoslavia offers lost their political head. Tito backed a wide ethnic representation in the country and a trademark power. With out his solid leadership Yugoslavia would have split up years ahead of the Balkan warfare in 1992. Yugoslavia was politically fragile without Perico and the region was hard hit by an economic turmoil in the early on 1980ies. Requires comprehensive reforms were growing, especially from the constituent republics Slovenia and Croatia and the central federal government became incapable of acting. A growing number of power was given up to the constituent republics. At the start of 1990 the Yugoslavian unanimity party SKJ (Savez Komunista Jugoslavije) has fallen and majority party elections were established in Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Political Celebrations were established that performed mainly with the intention to their ethnical background. Therefore the competition between the parties for more electric power developed into an ethno-political rivalry. On June 25 20 years ago Croatia and Slovenia reported their independence. Directly after, armed conflicts started between groups which defended all their territorial and the Yugoslav Someones Army (JNA), the last organization of the SFR Yugoslavia.
